What Guests Are Saying?

    John Sayers

Uniondale Manor is a very homely lodge. There are a number of rooms which are all very comfortable. The lodge does not serve meals but has an arrangement with a coffee shop across the road where guests can have a very nice breakfast if they are so inclined. Almost next to the lodge is the Hungry Ghost which serves meals and drinks. Parking is secure and is undercover which a lot of guest lodges don't have. The only item missing from the bedrooms is a wall safe which is actually a necessity.

Uniondale Manor gave us everything we needed after our Tsitsikamma Trip. It was neat and clean, extremely cozy and comfortable. Niky responded fast and was very welcoming. Thank you for getting us back on to the road to Jozi.

I highly recommend this guesthouse if you’re looking to overnight in Uniondale. I’m car guy and the secure, undercover parking is a major plus in my book. My compact room was neat and clean with plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed. Two bottles of drinking water were provided as was a kettle to brew tea and coffee. The manager, Nicky, was super friendly/helpful and check-in/check-out was a breeze. The location is nice and central and appears very safe and quiet. In front of the guesthouse is the Hungry Ghost restaurant - a good place to unwind with a few cold beers after a day on the road. Uniondale Manor Guesthouse is also reasonably priced: All in all I was very satisfied with my experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend.
